Therapy is a unique journey for each person, one that can be powerful and transformative. Cary works closely with teens (16+) and adults in their exploration of identity, relationship, and life-transition concerns. Cary is also passionate about working with women regarding health issues, post-partum, and sexual concerns, and as a first-generation Canadian, she is keen on supporting those immigrating to Canada or experiencing concerns around immigration and identity.
From Cary:
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I also prioritize building a genuine relationship with my clients, as I believe this to be essential for facilitating change.
I work with adolescents (16+) and adults regarding issues related to depression, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship and attachment issues, identity exploration, and existential experiences. I tailor my approach to each client depending on their needs, preferences, and experiences in therapy. I draw primarily on humanistic philosophies and utilize interventions from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I approach therapy from a collaborative, person-centred perspective to embrace your unique identity, worldview, and lived experience.
I am honoured to learn about each person’s unique stories and challenges, and it’s a privilege to witness their profound growth and genuine transformation as part of my work.
