From Hannah:
Welcome! In my practice, I support individual clients aged 16+ who may be experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image or disordered eating, ADHD, or substance use. I also support clients who want to improve their overall emotional wellbeing or manage stress more effectively.
My approach is founded on the belief that there can be no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. Instead, my work integrates elements of various evidence-based treatments to best meet your unique needs. I primarily draw from Emotion-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioural approaches within a trauma- and attachment-informed framework. Your feedback is always important to me in guiding our therapeutic work.
As a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers. Throughout my career I have had the privilege to provide clinical services in community, hospital-based, and private settings. I completed my Master of Social Work degree with Carleton University, and regularly attend ongoing training and consultation to ensure I am providing up-to-date, effective treatment.
Outside of work, you will often find me pursuing one of my many (ever-changing!) hobbies - music, yoga, and
knitting are among the most recent.
