From Daniele:
Hello and welcome! I work from a non-judgmental, compassionate perspective, offering a collaborative stance to allow you to fully involve yourself in creating a therapeutic path that feels right to you. I provide a structured, yet relaxed approach, welcoming the opportunity to provide feedback throughout your session. I specialize in trauma, stress and anxiety, anger, attachment concerns, ADHD, and concurrent disorders.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience from Carleton University. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Self-in-Relationship Psychotherapy (SIRP). Other therapeutic approaches I work from are Trauma-Focused, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I also like to pull from my neuroscience background to provide insight into how the brain changes and adapts to mental health conditions.
