Elora Wales
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), M.Ed., she/her
Elora encourages her clients to come as they are, as she brings a warm and non-judgemental approach to her sessions. She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, borrowing techniques from person-centred therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and internal family systems therapy (IFS). Her goal is to support her clients in recognizing and identifying with their strengths as they navigate life’s difficult emotions and experiences.
From Elora:
In my practice, I focus primarily on supporting individuals aged 18 and older, as they navigate a broad range of challenges related to anxiety, perfectionism, stress, low mood, self-esteem, grief, and interpersonal relationships. Whether we are celebrating the highs or mourning the lows, it is a privilege for me to be there with you through it all.
Through my person-centred approach to therapy, I ensure to adapt sessions based on your needs, priorities, and pace. Because exploring difficult topics with a therapist is both brave and vulnerable, it is my priority to build a strong and trusting relationship first, so that you feel comfortable enough to show up as your most authentic self - I believe this is when the real magic happens. I encourage the fostering of ultimate cozy vibes in sessions via your favourite blanket, drink, candle, or whatever that might look like for you!
