From Jason:
We can sometimes feel alone in our struggles. We may be asking if we are the problem in these
situations as our needs are consistently not being met in our life circumstances. In session with
me, I take on a holistic approach to your life. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you
to openly discuss what you are going through and the goals/dreams that you wish to move closer
to attaining. I often consider myself like a coach on a team. I will always be in your corner
cheering you on, but that doesn't mean that I am not going to help push you towards the goals
that you set for yourself.
My goal as your therapist is to provide you with the skills that you desire to better your
circumstances. Utilizing evidence-based practices and modalities such as integrative therapy,
cognitive-behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, and solution -focused therapy, we
will work to manage emotions and communication patterns that could be negatively impacting
ourselves and our relationships. When you leave a session with me, I want you to feel
understood.
I see clients 17+ and have direct clinical experience in the areas of interpersonal issues (e.g.
boundary violations, issues in communication, relational issues, etc.), life transitions, burnout,
stress management, sexuality, LGBTQIA+, anxiety and depression. Additionally, I am a certified
Sex Therapy-Informed Professional.
