From Valérie:
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow, heal, and create significant change in
their lives. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive and collaborative space where you
can feel safe to be yourself and explore how to make your life more enriching and
meaningful. Together, we’ll work on gaining insights, building on your strengths, and
finding tools for you to feel equipped to navigate life’s challenges and move toward your
goals.
I work with adults of all ages dealing with life transitions, anxiety, self-esteem struggles,
relationship difficulties (including interpersonal violence), ADHD, and the stress that can
come with migration. My approach is person-centered and humanistic, with a foundation
in intersectional feminism. I primarily use evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each session to fit your unique needs.
With a background in psychology, sociology, and advocacy work in the field of gender-
based violence, I have a deep understanding of social justice, diversity, and inclusion. I
recognize the impact of systemic barriers and everyday microaggressions that can
weigh heavily over time. My commitment is to practice with cultural humility, ensuring
that our work together is trauma-informed and affirming—welcoming to clients from all
walks of life.
Let’s take this journey together at your own pace, in a space where you feel seen,
heard, and supported.
